Senior Unreal Engine Developer (full time)
NON REMOTE / ON LOCATION
Do you want to work for an international game studio where you can express your creativity? For our office in Palma de Mallorca, Spain we are looking for an experienced Senior Unreal Engine Developer with solid knowledge and a hands-on mentality. You can build new games and apps with the latest tools and techniques. You turn ideas, concepts and requirements into great app / game solutions.
What will you be doing:
- Develop and implement new gameplay features within the Unreal Engine to deliver exceptional user experience,
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and mentoring other programmers to create optimal, scalable solutions for game design challenges.
- Debug, optimize, and ensure software stability and security in the game’s engine.
- Integrate assets from the art and design teams, ensuring they meet the necessary technical requirements.
- Write clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code.
- Provide input during the design process and contribute to the overall game concept and playability.
- Maintain and enhance the Unreal Engine as required for the game’s development.
What will you bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or equivalent relevant years of experience,
- Proven working experience (3+ years) as an Unreal Engine Developer,
- Proficient with C++ and blueprints in Unreal Engine,
- Strong knowledge of the game development process and 3D game engines,
- Understanding of network programming, physics, databases and AI within the Unreal Engine,
- Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills,
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment,
- Proficiency in written and spoken English,
- Excellent time management, organizational and prioritization skills,
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and project applications (e.g. Jira),
- A good mood every day.
