In collaboration with SPARK parking management and Expoproof, StickyLock has realized a 360-degree video that tells the story behind the Albert Cuypgarage.
Barticipation, Expoproof and StickyLock together organized a VR session for SPARK parking management. This could then be seen at the Mobility trade fair in 2019. And what a success! It is a first in the parking world.
In the unique VR session ‘See parking through different glasses’, you literally take a look through another pair of glasses. Visitors to the trade fair used the VR experience to enter the Albert Cuypgarage in Amsterdam; the first garage built under a canal in our capital. The garage opened in mid-2018 and cost over €35 million. With its 600 underground parking spaces, the car park has created more space for cyclists, pedestrians and nature. It is simply the efficient use of public space!
The purpose of the carefully designed VR experience was to discuss and brainstorm about the impact of your parking choices.
