Motion Capture is the recording of actors' movements so that they can be used for realistic 3D animations. Various sensors are distributed across the character's joints and limbs. These sensors respond to movements and rotations by registering them and processing them with the right software. This way the movements of your character are not distinguishable from the real thing!
